Instructions for Data Submission
We would greatly appreciate if you could submit data you wish to post
on the CMD site in the following formats described below (also see
example excel files). This will help eliminate errors from reformatting
data files
and allow your data to be displayed promptly on the CMD site. If you
have any problems providing data in these formats or need help converting
your files into these formats please feel free to contact
Anna Blenda.
Panel Data Submission
Refer to the Panel Screened Data Template in excel format with sample data.
You may also include any additional useful comments/info in the column 'Comments'.
Microsatellite Data Submission
Refer to the Microsatellite Data Template in excel format with sample data.
You may also include any useful comments/info in the column 'Additional Info'.
CMAP Data Submission
Refer to the excel CMap Data Template which includes sample data.
Providing data in this format allows us to very quickly upload it to CMap.
The column descriptions are as follows:
map_name : linkage group
map_display_order : The linkage groups will be displayed in CMap following this order (optional)
feature_start : distance (cM) from one arm (not the distance between markers)
feature_name : marker name
feature_type : marker type
feature_aliases : another marker_name if available (not required)
